A number of women in Horley; particularly first-time mums have raised concerns after a baby clinic in the area was shut down.

Due to some administrative changes, Clerklands Surgery has had to close the baby clinic which used to hold at the Horley Baptist Church.

Some of the affected women think that this is one good thing taken away from the neighbourhood.
A mother of two said the weekly sessions made her feel more confident about the development of her baby. Another mum who’s still recovering from postnatal depression says having someone to talk to regularly made a huge difference in her general well being and that of her baby.

Mothers have been encouraged to attend another clinic which holds weekly at the Church of the English Martyrs on Vicarage Lane, Horley.
