A tiny fox got his head stuck in a watering can while snooping around in a garden at Leatherhead, Surrey.

The garden owners heard the cub’s cries for help and tried to free him. After some unsuccessful attempts, they called on their local animal rescue centre . Relief finally came six hours later for the whimpering fox when Simon Cowell of Wildlife Aid in Leatherhead managed to pull him free.

The four-week-old fox who’s been named Jacob was salivating when he was finally released but has now been fed and will be released into the wild.
